Medicine Hat Age Verification

This message is for all those in Medicine Hat who need age verification to access the Airsoft Canada restricted Forum sections.

I currently visit Medicine Hat every (or every other) Thursday night. I am busy until 9:30-10pm those nights with volunteer work. After I am done, I usually stop for a coffee or a bite to eat before heading back to Brooks. With advance notice, I would be more than happy to meet with anyone that needs to be AV'ed. You can PM, Email or call me in advance to arrange a meeting (Ph:403.363.7403).

If you call me on a Thursday and expect me to meet you later in the day you may be out of luck. Right now I'm running a tight schedule these days and I don't have much time for last minute stuff.

My volunteer work doesn't run through the summer but I do visit my Family down there once or twice a month. Again, let me know if you want AV's and I'll work something out. The other option in to come to Brooks on a Saturday when we are playing and I can do the AV then.

Be sure you have at least one govt issued piece of photo ID (Drivers License) and additional ID if you have it. If you don't have photo ID, bring me as much proof as possible like a bill in your name, AB health Card, SIN Card (I will not take down the number), etc. And I don't consider a 'Movie Experts' membership card as ID. Sorry.

Yes and no. I replaced Capt. Dent as the Army Cadet League Rep so i'm their civilian watchdog and funding go-between. That's why I don't have to be there every week.

sounds like fun (enter sarcasim here). Barry Steir asked me a while back (2002) if I wanted to help out with the cadets but I wasn't really into it.

How about now? The need some good quality help. Currently only 3 in green and one civi looking after 50 cadets. They are way under staffed.

Man, i remember being in Cadets quite a few years ago. Was with Lord Strathcona's Horse out of Calgary in the 90's before they moved to Edmonton

Both Wade and I were with the SALH here in town back in the late 80's early 90's (for me 88-91).

I was a beaver, cub, boyscout and a venture....no cadets....

Got every damn badge in Cubs, other than the sewing badge. I got over that.

I dont understand this age verification stuff. If i want to play in alberta or buy airsofts rifles in alberta, I have to meet somone for a meeting?

on the airsoftcanada.com site you need to have your age verified to prove you are over 18 (and legally allowed) to enter the site's for sale classifieds. It's a great place to buy new/used airsoft guns accessories or parts at really good prices. In order to become age verified you have to meet a verifier who will submit your info to the site.

That being said, took about a week and a half to get verified and I have already made a few purchases

If someone in Medicine Hat needs age verification, I can do that now, i've been re-instated as a age verification rep for ASC.

Verified a guy today, and ex-army cadet. Gave him the link to this board for any further questions, don't need him getting flamed on ASC.

i dont know if he was refering to me but i am an ex army cadet and was told to go to this site so i didnt get noobflamed on asc i was an army cadet in medicine hat here from 2003 to 2006 left because the core started falling apart (new officers joined and started taking over everything) and then i moved up north for 6 months

AV'd a guy today, gave him one of Bob's cards and the addy to this board. Nice young guy, very eager to get started, just turned 18 a couple of weeks ago, and Bob, he loves the FN2000.

Great to hear. Another one who "loves" the FN2000. If I sold one for every ten times I heard that, I'd have sold over a dozen. lol. If he serious about buying, come my way. You won't get better service anywhere!
