New around here.

Hows it goin guys. Pretty new to airsoft, I played a few times in Calgary never really got into it because of hockey and other hobbies.
Here I am, done with Hockey, and bored.

I do have some clothing/gear but no guns. I have shopped around, I plan on buying here in the next week or so. I probably need to be age-verified for the trading forums, If so is there anybody around the Lethbridge area I can meet with to verify that.

All good if I show up at some games?

Any clubs or teams getting down around the area? I know I read something Green Devil posted about trying to get a team from Lethbridge going. Just wondering how thats coming along. I may need to goto Calgary and get AV'd by one of the guys from ASC, That would qualify here right?

Green Devil is also an ASC Age Verifier, though he's almost the same distance away. We currently do not have an Age Verifier in the LB area, though if there is someone there whose already AV'd and has been on ASC for two years or more, they can volunteer. No promises they'd get approved though.

Welcome to our forums. Make sure you ask lots of questions. We're all pretty helpful around here and we try to make sure you feel welcome. You will find plenty of info in the various sections of the forums but I'm sure there is a lot we can expand on.

If you and MrDow123 are willing to wait a few weeks, I'll make a trip down to Lethbridge to get you both age verified. There are a couple teams off the grid down in Lethbridge but they pretty much stick to Lethbridge and don't go to big organised games (that I'll seen in the past couple years, anyway). I'll be in Cochrane the first second weekend in January (9th & 10th) then my schedule is pretty few for a couple weeks so I can probably swing down the following weekend. If you can both check your schedules to see if you are in the area and let me know, we can plan from there.

Well, that isn't good. Perhaps it will give you more time but it will cut into your airsoft budget.

This I have realised, but Ive been fired very unfairly and I'm going to seek the Unions help to get me rehired.

So hopefully my cash flow starts up again soon. But atleast I still have 6 months before I can start playing anyway
