What is AB-Airsoft?

AB-Airsoft is a wonderful dream. This forum is the first step in turning our dream into reality. The AB-Airsoft forum has been created to allow Airsoft teams throughout Alberta to come together and exchange ideas freely. This site is open to anyone who plays (or wants to play) airsoft. Yes, there are other places to discuss airsoft and we encourage everyone to frequent those forums for National issues/information regarding Airsoft. Our goal is to give the Airsoft Community in Alberta a place to discuss Airsoft IN Alberta. There is a huge gap between the 'Local' and 'National' discussions when it comes to Airsoft and we are hoping that we might just fill the void.

AB-Airsoft was conceived by a few ambitious individuals in an attempt to draw together smaller clubs outside of the big cities. Small clubs in their current form simply can't influence the community. Standing together, however, will give us a voice and allow us to come together in the future to organise large games and create a standard set of rules that will allow members to move freely from field to field knowing the rules are the same. Can this work? So far we have two teams firmly in the fold using the same rules and running similar games (a third is in the works). We currently rotate fields every two weeks to stage larger games and get to know each other. In time, we are hoping to add another field in Medicine Hat and perhaps another in Lethbridge.
