Lets give this a shot.

Hello guys! I'm new here.. obviously. Where to start, you can call me by my forum name or just call me JC. I'm also from Calgary, I wanted to join this forum to get to know the airsoft community in my Provence.

A little back story: When I was younger me and my friend starting going out with his brother paintballing, loving it we started going out with a new bunch of guys and I was hooked! but it wasn't what I wanted, Don't get me wrong speedball was fun shit. When I was 17 (about two years ago now) I sold my paintball marker and gear for a lens saying to my friends that I was done with paintball. In those two years I have talked to some guys who play airsoft, met them both on DA and my friends buddy in the forces. I got more interested I always thought that airsoft was dead in Canada due to "legal issues" and a small community but I can see that the "legal issues" are less of a problem and that a small community makes for better players.

So here I am trying to get to know the community and maybe get involved with it, If you want to say hello or ask any questions feel free.

PS: Bravo on the elcan cross-hairs on your shield! This patriotic Canadian approves.

well the trek is possible but I don't have any gear or cash XD just wanted to get to know the community first

Only in my hunting rifle, and even then they're not FMJ, they're 168gr BTHP.

what type of game do you hunt?

everything from gopher to moose, although I haven't been out hunting in about 6 years, and the last live round I fired was from a C6 GPMG, or was it my C7, can't remember its been a while, but ya, I haven't fired a shot out of my hunting rifle in quite a long time.

And I hunt with this -

do you use/own the eight round clip and/or five round clip?

I have both, 8rnd for range shooting, 5rnd for hunting. And the last gopher I nailed was with my .44mag loaded with 240gr XTPHP.

jesus! that will do it. I never seen a M1 in person before I mean I'm not new around firearms thanks to my father but I'm also a city boy so I don't have much need to own one.

There might be a slight gopher problem at the field here. It would be nice to get a handle on it before the season starts.

Really, i've got about 4000rnds of .22 ammo just waiting to get used.

First Op of the season:

Your mission, sweep and clear all gopher personel, terminate with extreme prejudice.

Mind you, with the size of the leg breakers out there, it may be all badgers by now. I s'pose they shoot up just as well. just don't miss.
BTW, I doubt land owner wants real steel on the land, sorry.
