Airsoft Canada

Post by Green Devil on 29th May 2008, 12:10

For all the new players out there, I suggest you all register with Airsoft Canada to access the National 'Classified' section. You will need to be age verified to access this specific section of their forums. Airsoft Canada is also a good place to find information on what is happening Nationally with Airsoft and big games for those who don't mind traveling.

ASC

The only problem with ASC,Wade is that in order to get age verified you have to meet Jonuts, and he will try and steal all our new players. That and they don't like people that have opinions.Trust me I've been banned for life.

Mikey, Jonus is not the only age verifier in Alberta so it really isn't a problem. As a team (or group of teams), we need to go to more games outside of South Alberta. There is a good chance that an age verifier will be on hand to do an age verification. The process is slower but there is no real rush. Almost everyone has at least one gun and we have the ability to source more if we need them.

As for being banned, as a group we are not allowed onto their fields from what I have been told. Nobody ever called to tell me that but two of their team members have told me so. Our field is still open to them if they want to come and play (on the condition that they agree to play by our rules). They will also need to contact us first to discuss rules and conduct on our field BEFORE the day of the game.

To finish, we don't need to beg and crawl to get the things we need. Be professional (no need to curse), stand tall, and don't get into a pissing match with members of other teams and we will do just fine.

IF someone needs to be age verified for ASC, I can do that too, only problem is I don't get out to Brooks very often, if at all these days. Guess thats what happens when one has $4-5000 worth of gear and guns, and no car. In fact, i've only played once so far this year, the M249 is not loving the lack of use.

Welcome

Post by Green Devil on 13th July 2008, 21:51

Dan,

You are welcome to come up here and play with us any time you like. Mikey comes up often and if you ask nice, I don't see why he wouldn't bring you along. We have now switched our game days to Saturdays as Sundays were just too busy for everyone.
